OVERVIEW:
Every year the beautiful
temples of Khajuraho provide the backdrop for a festival of
dances. The country's most gifted dancers perform at this festival
of Indian classical dances. The Khajuraho temples capture life
in every form and mood. Built in the 11th and 12th centuries,
22 of the original 85 temples still survive.
DAY 1 Arrive at Satna by Shipra Express (0955 hrs.). Depart
for Khajuraho.
Overnight: Hotel Jhankar/Payal.
DAY 2 Sightsee in Khajuraho. See the festival in the evening.
DAY 3 Sightsee in Khajuraho and visit the Raneh Falls. See
the festival in the evening.
DAY 4 Visit Pandav Falls and Panna National Park during the
day. See the festival in the evening.
DAY 5 Depart for Satna and leave for Kolkata by Mumbai-Howrah
Mail (1655 hrs.). |
